Discover some of Bath’s most photogenic locations during a three-hour private walking tour led by a professional photographer. Tours are available to suit all photography skill levels: from mobile phone users to experienced photographers.
Probably the most beautiful city in the UK, Bath is the only UK city to be designated a world heritage site in its entirety. From the spectacular Gothic arches of the Abbey, to the ancient mystery of the Roman Baths, to the refined elegance of the Royal Crescent, Bath has it all. On your tour you’ll learn about Bath’s remarkable history and the fascinating stories behind the most famous locations, as well as discover some other unexpectedly photogenic spots. Your guide will adapt the tour to suit the time of day, the season, the light and the weather, so no two tours are exactly the same.
Learn to get the most out of your camera, whether it is a smartphone, a point-and-shoot, or a high-end DSLR. Your tour can include as much or as little instruction as you wish. Tips might include the basics of composition and color, aperture and shutter speed, the best lenses to use for different subjects and the skillful use of natural light.
Tours are led by Tony McNicol who grew up in Bath and has spent 15 years’ working in the UK and Japan as a photojournalist and travel photographer.
