Lane House Arts’ first permanent gallery opened in May 2013 in Bath’s Artisan Quarter at the top of Walcot Street. This small, beautifully curated exhibition space specialises in contemporary art, ceramics, sculpture and prints carefully selected for their quality and originality. Lane House Arts represents established and emerging artists. The location of the gallery in Bath’s creative centre reflects Lane House Arts’ commitment to encouraging and supporting artistic endeavour and promoting new talent. In our series of gallery takeovers, guest artists are given the space to curate shows, This close collaboration results in original, exciting and challenging shows. The gallery currently represents a growing number of contemporary artists and makers based in the UK and Europe. We aim to create strong supportive relationships with the artists and to nurture creativity. Through a programme of changing exhibitions, Lane House Arts displays a unique and strong design aesthetic, choosing
and showing work intuitively and instinctively. It seeks to communicate its commitment and passion to existing clients and visitors alike in a welcoming and accessible environment. We welcome new partnerships and recently worked with Fringe Arts Bath (FaB) and Forest of Imagination in May and June this year.
