This year marks the 70th anniversary of Bath Festivals! The popular multi-arts festival returns to Bath in a 17 day extravaganza from Friday 11th May to Sunday 27th May. The much anticipated Finale Weekend at Bath Recreation Ground will feature stars such as Paloma Faith, Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters, Alison Moyet, Imelda May, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Midge Ure and Seth Lakeman, plus more.
There will also be a poets Corner/Spoken Word stage with acclaimed children’s author Laura James (Cowboy pug) and renowned Bristol Poet Rebecca Tantony, a Talent Show, a Children’s area with ‘Children’s Field and Rave Cave’, artisan food and drink from local traders: including Nigerian, Italian and Japanese food, as well as a whole host of British favourites and vegan options; vegan Cajun Chic’in Burger, Hoisin ‘Duck’ Wrap and Vegan Fish & Chips, plus a bandstand stage and an eclectic selection of craft stalls.
The Bath Festival celebrates the city of Bath with music and literature, engaging with the wider community and bringing the streets of Bath to life.
