Robert Burns lived between 25th January 1759 and 21st July 1796, he was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland.

Friday 22nd January – Burns Night Black Tie Dinner

Join us for a traditional Burns Night celebration within the beautiful surroundings of Highgrove. Following tradition the Haggis will be piped in and an ode to the Haggis recited before it is served.

The evening begins at 7pm with Highgrove Champagne and canapés served on arrival with a piper playing in the background. The 3 course dinner will be accompanied by Highgrove organic wines throughout.

Dress code: Black Tie

Mon 25th January – Burns Night Whisky Tasting and Dine at Ston Easton

Join us on the famous Burns Night for a traditional whisky tasting with Maria from In For Taste. Maria will guide you through a selection of Scottish, Irish and American whiskies, the tasting will last between 30-60 minutes including an entertaining presentation about the different types of whiskies, the history of whisky and why it is so popular. It will be an informal, enjoyable and memorable evening that you could experience with your friends and family.

The evening will also include a 5 course tasting menu prepared by our Head Chef and his brigade. A chance for you to discuss your experience over a sumptuous meal.

Arrival time of 6.45pm; the whisky tasting will then begin at 7.00pm, followed by dinner at 8.00pm.
