Burns Night falls on Sunday 25th January this year and you can celebrate the birthday of the Scottish poet Robert Burns in style at the Pump Rooms in Bath – one of the most elegant venues in the city.
The event is taking place from 7.00pm on Friday 23rd January with an evening of entertainment; beginning with a drinks reception around the torch-lit Roman Baths, followed by a Burns’ Night supper and Burns’ poetry readings, a raffle and live band.
The menu is as follows:
- Cullen skink soup shot
- Traditional haggis, neeps and tatties
- Fillet steak, ‘Belhaven’ ale gravy with butter roast potatoes, black pudding and rosemary root vegetables
- ‘Brodies’ coffee with Scottish shortbread
