About the Guides
The guides are volunteers and are proud of the service they offer. It is free and no guide accepts a tip. The reward is the satisfaction of helping visitors understand some of the history of the city and guides do have dinner with the Mayor and Charter Trustees once a year. At this dinner newly qualified Guides are presented with their badge showing all that they are a Member of the Mayor of Bath’s Corps of Honorary Guides.
