Licensing

All accommodation providers need a TV license.  For accommodation providers with up to 15 rooms the cost  a TV license is the same as a standard residential license.

We now all need to have a PRS license. There is no exception to this as your guests can listen to music and radio stations from the  TV's in their rooms. You may also play music in your dinning room, reception or bar.

The cost of the license will  depend on how many rooms and what you play.

 If you wish to sell alcoholic drinks you will need a licence. It is an offence to sell intoxicating liquor without one.
There are two types of licence: premises licences and personal licences

Providing "free" alcohol to guests is againt the law.   You are indirectly selling it to them in the payment they make for the room.
