1. Allow a minimum of 2 days

Bath has a wealth of things to see - one day will never be enough.

3. Always check the times you can check in to your room/apartment

  Let your guest house know what time you will be arriving – this really helps your hard working hosts plan their day!

4. Reserved a table at a restaurant

Bath restaurants get very busy – especially at weekends and holidays. See our restaurant guide for our choice.

5.  Visiting the Roman Baths?

Allow at least 2 hours – there’s a lot to see and do.

6. Plan in some relaxing time

You’ll want to sit and watch one of Baths many street performers

7. The thermae spa is quieter early morning and late afternoon

So you can really relax!

8. Look out for the free walking tours

For an informative tour of the city take a free walking tour with one of the Mayors guides.  Meeting point is outside the pump rooms.

9. Take advantage of early dinning offers

10. If you have the time to get out of the City

Stonehenge, Laycock, Bradford on Avon, Glastonbury and Wells are all about an hour away and if you don’t have transport you can always take a Mad Max Tour.
