Bath has received a big thumbs up from TripAdvisor, with three of its popular museums receiving Certificates of Excellence.

The achievement is awarded to businesses which have received positive feedback from travellers in the last year. These can include accommodations, restaurants and attractions all over the world.

No. 1 Royal Crescent, the Museum of Bath Architecture and The Herschel Museum of Astronomy have announced their awards.

Caroline Kay, CEO of the Bath Preservation Trust said: “This award shows that our independent museums offer excellence as well as variety, giving visitors to Bath plenty to do and explore. And Bath Preservation Trust members can visit all of these museums as many times as they like for free with their membership.”

Heather Leisman, vice president of industry marketing at TripAdvisor said: “With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours attractions that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers.

“This recognition helps travellers identify properties that regularly deliver great service.”
