On Sunday 14th October, FROM THE JAM return to Komedia after their sold-out show in 2017, bringing classic ‘The Jam’ hits back to the stage with legendary former ‘The Jam’ bassist Bruce Foxton.
Original ‘The Jam’ bassist Bruce Foxton, accompanied by a full band, brings classic British rock anthems to Komedia Bath this October!
Icons of British music history, The Jam saw stunning success throughout the 1970s and 80s, releasing classic hits including ‘A Town Called Malice’, ‘Going Underground’, ‘That’s Entertainment’ and more to critical acclaim, and reaching the UK Top 40 charts with 7 albums before their break up in 1982.
Now, over 40 years after The Jam’s formation, original The Jam member and legendary bass player Bruce Foxton is joined by lead guitarist/vocalist Russell Hastings, drummer Mike Randon and keyboardist/organist Andy Fairclough to bring the band’s most well-loved hits back to the stage.
Throughout their 11 years of touring, From the Jam have earned a reputation for the kind of incendiary live performances that sealed the reputation of The Jam all those years ago. From the Jam return to Komedia Bath this October, following from their sold-out show in 2017.
The Band:
Bruce Foxton is an established part of English rock and roll history. Best known for his work as bassist in The Jam and Stiff Little Fingers, Foxton has also had a prolific solo career, including the release of the hit single ‘Freak’ in 1983. As part of The Jam, he and drummer Rick Buckler were the driving force, power and rhythm section behind singer, guitarist, and songwriter Paul Weller.
A talented singer and guitarist in his own right, Russell Hastings has been working with The Jam drummer Rick Buckler since November 2005 and, since forming From the Jam, he has shocked audiences with his authentic and passionate interpretation of The Jam’s back catalogue. Foxton and Hastings are joined by an energetic and talented drum and piano section in the form of Mike Randon and Andy Fairclough respectively, bringing classic The Jam hits to the stage with love and enthusiasm.
Don’t miss your chance to catch these classic British rock and roll hits, live on stage in a dynamic, energetic show on Sunday 14th October at Komedia Bath!
