The Forum

Back to Events

Friday 30 November 2018, 7.30pm | The Forum, Bath
One of the World’s finest violinists Nicola Benedetti joins Bath Philharmonia for a St Andrew’s Night celebration of all things Scottish. Nicola Benedetti is one of the most sought-after violinists of her generation. Her ability to captivate audiences with her innate musicianship and dynamic presence, coupled with her wide appeal as a high-profile advocate for classical music, has made her one of the most influential classical artists of today.

Join Nicola as she performs Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2 alongside Bath Philharmonia in a wonderful St Andrew’s Night celebration. The festivities don’t end there in our tartan charged programme featuring Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, An Orkney Wedding with Sunrise (featuring bagpipes!) by Peter Maxwell-Davies and Richard Strauss’ early tone poem, Macbeth.
