FilmBath presents: Skate Kitchen

It’s refreshing to see a group of young women forming a feminist, sex-positive, shred-happy collective they call the Skate Kitchen. Newcomer Camille – after initially being accepted into the group – makes some bad decisions that jeopardise her position. Director Crystal Moselle (The Wolfpack) again finds a way to let us into the fascinating rituals and dynamics of teen bonding and collaborative play. The mostly non-professional cast are terrific, and the film is a joy: the crew ‘film Vinberg and her fellow skaters with poetic, looping agility, following behind as they shred their way through Manhattan streets’ – The Washington Post.
