FISHERMEN’S RETREAT – A HAVEN OF CALM
A veritable rural retreat, Fishermen’s Retreat is an award winning haven of calm where you can totally escape from the bustle of Bath and relax in the beautiful Midford Valley beside the Midford Brook.
ABOUT FISHERMEN’S RETREAT
One of a rank of 4 cottages built for the Somerset Coal Canal workers in the late 1800s and renovated today to 4 Star standard and has now been awarded a Gold Star for exceptional accommodation and welcome.

Fishermen’s Retreat has a south facing mature garden leading down to the Midford brook where there is a stone built barbecue on the brookside patio. There is nothing more enjoyable than relaxing with a glass of wine while your cook is at work!
