While you’ll find many historic hotels in Bath, there aren’t any quite like the luxurious No.15 Great Pulteney. Independently owned and set in three Grade-I Georgian townhouses, No.15 is a quintessentially English luxury townhouse hotel and spa that’s full of surprises and curiosities.

Our 40 bedrooms are individually designed with a supremely comfortable night’s sleep in mind, while also being spaces you’ll want to spend lots of time in. Captivating collections, bespoke art, joyfully unexpected touches, calming colour schemes and ambient lighting all help to create a truly unique experience.

Wonderfully restful sitting rooms with open fires provide the ideal backdrop for relaxing over everything from speciality Origin coffee and homemade patisserie to afternoon tea or simply soaking up the gallery-like feel. Cafe 15 is the hub for delicious dinners and our famed Sunday brunch in intriguing surrounds, while Bar 15 – serving up creative liquid libations and wonderful wines from across the globe – becomes a big part of our focus after dark.

We’re lucky to be in possession of characterful event spaces with plenty of period charm, which lend themselves perfectly to intimate or lavish drinks parties, decadent dinners or super centrally-located meetings.

Sybarites will also be keen to note that we have a spa with a personality all of its own. Bespoke art installations dictate the individual themes in our four treatment rooms, while you’ll also find a large cedar wood hot tub within historic, exposed stone vaults, a lovely barrel-shaped sauna and a separate steam area.

To be found in a peaceful residential area on the grandest street in Bath city centre, you wouldn’t know you’re just a short stroll from the all the city’s boutiques, restaurants and cultural highlights. Just 90 minutes from London by train, and a 10-minute walk from Bath Spa Station, No.15 Great Pulteney is a stylish place to stay and a great place to meet, with a touch of luxury for the curious modern glamour, and plenty to discover. . .

Great Pulteney Street

On the surface all might seem normal, but behind the classical Grade-I Georgian façade, we’ve added the sort of imaginative design features, curios, and relaxing homely touches that together create a visually exciting new hotel experience. Discover 40 thoughtfully-designed luxury rooms in the heart of Bath, from imposing suites with Great Pulteney Street views to cosy loft rooms with bespoke feature wall murals, to suit your own style and personality. We also have a lift to all floors, 24-hour reception, daily housekeeping and for greater flexibility, 21 of our rooms can be made-up as twins if preferred and we have 10 rooms with sofa beds so ideal for families. We are also very happy to welcome your well-behaved dogs at No.15.

Whether you’re after the simple pleasures of perfect patisserie with speciality coffee or loose-leaf tea, a hearty breakfast, laid-back brunch or dinner in Cafe 15 with a focus on the finest artisanal ingredients, or a decadent private dining experience for 10 – 40 guests, our food and drink offering is an integral part of what we do here at No.15 Great Pulteney. You’ll find an enticing all-day menu, as well as our signature afternoon tea, while by night, you can prepare for something a little out of the ordinary. Bar 15 serves up cocktails for the curious and a carefully-curated drinks list in the most luxurious surrounds.

All rooms come with flat screen TVs with Sky sports and movies and there's free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Whether you’re keen to see the sights, soak up the history, or experience Bath from a local’s eye view, we’re here to lift the lid on the city’s best bits. From Bath Rugby match day at the Rec to beautiful boutiques, awe-inspiring galleries and the cultural hotspots you won’t want to miss, we’ve got your trip to Bath, and beyond, well and truly covered.

We have a very limited amount of on-site parking, which is available on a first-come-first-served basis and we tend to have more space available at the weekend. Parking in one of the spaces in the hotel car park at the rear, is charged at £20 per car, per night from check-in to check-out. We’re also in possession of a number of on-street parking permits for the streets surrounding No.15 and these are also offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are free to guests booking direct with the hotel, subject to availability. There are also several car parks to be found conveniently close to the hotel. Bath Cricket Club Car Park, BA2 4EX, is around the corner from the hotel and is approximately a 10-minute walk away and is charged at £15 for 24 hours. Manvers Street Car Park, BA1 1JN, is also around a 10-minute walk from the hotel and is charged at £12.50 for 24 hours.

No.15 is a non-smoking hotel, inside and out.

We welcome children of all ages. We can provide baby cots, sofa beds, we have one adjoining room and a children's menu available in the restaurant.

Just opposite the park, we’re in prime location for lots of lovely walks right on our doorstep. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the sitting rooms and Bar 15, and all of our bedrooms – with the exception of those on the Artists’ Floor at the top of our boutique townhouse – are dog-friendly (and the coach house rooms are particularly great as they back on to Henrietta Park!). There will be a £15 charge for your dog and we’ll have Woof boxes ready for their arrival, filled with the likes of nutritionally-balanced Lily’s Kitchen food, tempting biscuits and a ball for them to encourage two-legged owners to take them to the park. We have dog bowls as well as super comfy blankets available to purchase, to make furry friends that little bit more comfortable.
