The Paragon is a wondrously quirky Georgian Townhouse located in the bustling heart of historic Bath.
Arching over the ancient steps that lead from Roman Road down to Bath’s Artisan Quarter and Walcot Street, this listed building has been described as “like a Landmark Trust house but more beautiful.”
Packed full of original features the house sleeps 8 in four double bedrooms and is spread over a total of 6 floors. Up to 2 extras sleep in comfortable day beds in the larger rooms.
Awarded a special Gold by VisitBritain for 2018 / 19 and with the kitchen in the original vaults below street level you could not find a more original or characterful property for your special stay in Bath.
Sleeps 8 people in 4 double bedrooms. Extra 2 people sleep in very comfortable day beds in the largest two bedrooms.
2 of the bedrooms are ensuite whilst a third bedroom has it's own wet room next door. The upper 3 bedrooms are all spacious light and airy with wonderful views over southern Bath, whilst the lower bedroom has no windows to the outside (ideal for a snorer or for a couple that extra privacy). All 4 bedrooms have wonderfully comfortable beds and Egyptian cotton sheets.
There are 3 showers in total, 3 loos in total, 1 big bath - and a huge hot water tank with oodles of hot water.
The servant's kitchen is equipped with everything a modern chef might require including double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine ….. even a commercial cork screw (plus champagne bucket)!
Free WiFi, TV, satellite channels, cd player and mini-collection, Bluetooth speaker, set of Jane Austen novels, assorted games etc
Do be aware that this historic Georgian Townhouse is spread over a number of floors and there are lots of stairs.
