Bath: a great winter destination

Bath is a great winter destination according to iNews, it has been listed in their eight best UK cities to visit during the winter months.

The article states that Bath is an ideal destination for those seeking some R&R. It has a historical, olde worlde charm which lends itself well to the romanticism of the season. They recommend visiting the city’s Thermae Bath Spa, a day spa where you can bathe in the UK’s only naturally warm and mineral-rich waters. Offering a range of relaxing spa treatments and packages, the piece de resistance is the open-air rooftop pool. Relaxing in the water while soaking up the views of the honey-coloured buildings is a perfect way to spend time.

Of course, the Christmas Market got a mention, it is after all one of the best in the whole of Europe! The Christmas market runs throughout the city centre from 22 November to 9 December and the city’s Royal Victoria Park plays host to a festive ice-rink from 16 November 2018 to 6 January 2019.

The other cities featured on the list included: Lincoln, Dundee, Edinburgh, Birmingham, York, Manchester and Bristol.
