Eight is a small and independent townhouse hotel in the heart of Bath.
We have twenty bedrooms that effortlessly marry past and present. Each one has its own history and charm, yet all share the latest in up-to-the-minute creature comforts. As a small, independent boutique hotel, we’re able to give each and every guest our undivided attention. Nothing is too much trouble.
We offer a full range of hot and cold breakfast dishes. Breakfast can be added directly to your reservation when you book your room with us or else you can decide to include it when you arrive.
We serve breakfast daily between 8am and 10am on weekdays and from 8am to 10:30am on weekends, at a cost of £20 per person/day.
With its stone staircases and dramatic fireplaces the historic bar and lounge’s medieval past is clear. It’s now the perfect place to enjoy good company with a curated selection of good wines and soft drinks.

Eight has the following rooms available: 2 X Deluxe Double room 2 X Large Double rooms with bath 2 X Large Superior rooms 2 X Twin or Large Superior rooms 1 X Large Family room 1 X Triple room 1 X Snug Double Room 5 X Standard Double rooms 3 X Superior Double rooms 1 X Single room
All the twenty rooms are ensuite. The deluxe double rooms and large double rooms with bath have stand alone baths in the rooms. These rooms also have walk in showers in the ensuite bathrooms.. The large family room is equipped with 2 basins, a shower and a built in bath tub in the ensuite bathroom.
We are located in the heart of Bath. A few steps away from the world famous Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the Thermae Spa.
We are easily accessible by train – a 5 minute walk from the station. If you are travelling to Bath by car then we recommend Southgate car park on Southgate Street, BA1 1TP.
