Bath is a World Heritage City and has many interesting and unusual sites and attractions for you to visit. These are known as the jewels in the crown of Bath. However, the gems that make our jewels shine are the many independent, unique and distinctive shops, restaurants and retailers for which Bath is internationally renowned.
We are proud to work with Independent Bath traders to make your stay perfect in every way.
As you walk around the Circus, there are 525 individual stone carvings above the first floor windows, which represent many different crafts and trades. The carvings were done to support and promote those independent businesses which made the City of Bath unique and beautiful, both then and now.
Bath Independent Guest House Association wishes to continue with this tradition and will assist you to discover Independent Bath for yourselves.
”There is nothing so modern as tradition”
