Bath on Ice has announced their biggest event yet!

Victoria Park’s annual ice rink attraction is going to be bigger than ever, spanning 1,000 square meters, the rink will give more space than ever before for visitors and residents of Bath to skate and have fun this Christmas. It’s a 39% increase on size from last year. As well as ice skating, the park will also welcome back glow in the dark mini golf, mulled wine, wood-fired pizzas, extra hot chocolate, log burners and more! Set in the beautiful Royal Victoria Park, Bath on Ice is located directly below one of Bath’s most famous landmarks: the Royal Crescent.

Bath on Ice open on Friday, 16th November, It is open weekdays from 11.45 am-10pm and 10.30am -10pm at weekends.

If you are driving into Bath during Christmas time we would recommend using one of the park and ride services as parking is tricky around Christmas. The two nearest park and ride drop off points to us are:

  1. Queen Square:

Simply walk up Gay Street, turn left into Queens Parade Place, through the archways into the park and we are just there on the left.

  2. Milsom Street:

Up to the top and turn left onto George Street and then left down Gay Street and again into Queens Parade Place.

Both of these park and ride sites are a mere 2 minutes’ walk from the ice rink.

Located just next door to our site is Charlotte Street car park, Bath’s largest daily car park. If this is full, we would advise trying the large Southgate car park underneath the shopping area in the centre of town. Parking is also possible throughout Royal Victoria Park although do make sure you allow plenty of time before your skating session.

Trains to Bath Spa station and all local and national buses will arrive at the bottom end of town. It is an easy pleasant stroll from either station (bus and train station are on the same road) up through the shopping streets towards us in the park at the top end of town.
