Set in Bath’s former Beau Nash Cinema, a Grade II listed venue in the heart of the city, Komedia is Bath’s leading live entertainment venue and is a five time winner of the Chortle Award for the Best Venue in the West and Wales.
There are over 400 events hosted per year with an unparalleled programme of comedy, music, cabaret, kids’ events, club nights and just about everything else in between! It is the premier destination for touring entertainment in the region and regularly hosts some of the biggest names in the comedy and music industries with recent performers including Joe Lycett, Katherine Ryan, the Buzzcocks, Simon Amstell and the Hoosiers. Last September, it was the chosen host of the launch of Stay in Bath and is one of our Bath Reward Card holders.

Every Saturday, Komedia hosts their weekly comedy extravaganza, the Krater Comedy Club, your chance to catch some of the best UK and international stand up performers. Many of the nation’s top comedians started their careers playing Komedia. It is a great opportunity to witness the stars of tomorrow, live, right in the centre of Bath.
Each Krater Comedy Club features three top comics and a cracking compete, plus all tickets include free entry into Bath’s biggest club night, Motorcity!
Inspired by European cabaret theatre, Komedia also offers the opportunity to tuck into a meal while watching the show. The award-winning food is served at most of the comedy and cabaret shows and there are group discounts available. With great food, hilarious comedy and dancing until the early hours, what more could you need?!
Speaking of discounts, guests that have booked with one of the independent properties featured on Stay in Bath will have access to the Bath Reward Card. The Reward Card gives you offers and discounts that can be used across a whole range of businesses in Bath. Komedia is pleased to offer Bath Reward Card holders 2 for 1 tickets to the Krater Comedy Club, which features three top comics and a leading compete every Saturday night. These tickets can be booked over the phone or at the box office and guests will only need to bring along with Bath Reward Card with them to the venue to gain entry.
Customers can take a break from the city centre in our cosy Arts Cafe. We’ve got a range of hot and cold drinks available, as well as homemade cakes. The Café also operates a Box Office for all Komedia shows & partner events.
The team at Komedia work closely with many of the city’s top event organisers and you’ll find many of Bath’s festivals being hosted at the venue, including the Bath Comedy Festival, the Bath Festival. The Bath Children’s Literature Festival, Bath Fringe Festival and FilmBath.
