The Minerva Owls have arrived!
It hasn’t just been the wonderful weather causing visitors to Bath to smile broadly this summer. Thousands of visitors have been flocking to the city to get a first glimpse of the colourful owl and owlet sculptures which have been nesting in and around the city’s sights, shops and restaurants which will be on display in and around Bath until September.
‘Trailblazers’ of all ages have been hunting around the city to see the birds, using their maps and the free Owls of Bath app in their quest to spot as many statues as possible. The interactive app allows anyone using it to mark the owls off as they find them.
The owl sponsors have also been joining in with the fun, creating a whole host of fun events and promotions to celebrate the installation of their owls.
How many have you seen on your travels? You can join in with the excitement by tagging your favourite Owls across the official Minerva Owls social media channels with #OwlsofBath.
From J K Owling, to Nocturnowl, Owlbert Einstien, to Frida Owlo, there are puns to suit everybody’s interests. And don’t forget, we also have some very special interactive Owls too, including Digit’Owl at Bath Quays and Bird of Play at The Circus.
You can keep up to date with all the Owl goings on by signing up to the newsletter from the website.
