Dear Harry,
Last week I received a telephone call from James Kear of Higos Insurance based at Kelso Place in Bath.
Basically he was asking if my guest house insurance was up for renewal, and if so could he have the opportunity to beat my current renewal quote of £1,177.52.
I told him he would have to be quick because I am about to renew my insurance at the end of the week. He came around the following lunchtime and went through my my renewal policy being offered by my usual insurance company. And later that day he telephoned me to say he was able to provide the same cover for just £965.00. Which I thought was a good saving.
And the fact that their office is in Bath. I think he will be able to make savings for other members whose insurance is due for renewal. They have nothing to lose but possibly a lot to gain. He is a very likeable person who is able to visit you, and talk you though any aspects of the wording in your insurance policy that may be confusing or unclear.
I do hope that you can put the word out to other members whose insurance may be due, and hope they make a saving too!!
Kind regards
Peter Moore – Proprietor,
Marlborough House
