Bath is to host the UK’s first 1920’s gin, bourbon and cocktail festival. The Prohibition inspired Speakeasy Festival will take attendees back 100 years to the swinging twenties and will be appearing at 40 locations across the UK, with Bath’s event taking place at the Pavilion on 22nd June.
If you want to attend, you best do it soon, once the tickets are sold the event details disappear from the website and just like the speakeasies of the past, you’ll need a password to get back in.
Organisers say that those going to the festival will be greeted with a free Tom Collins cocktail and live 1920s swing entertainment, there is even an optional 1920’s fancy dress. Entry includes a branded speakeasy glass and wrist bands, free Tom Collins cocktail, access to bars with a wide range of gins, bourbons, American IPAs and notorious cocktails made famous by the speakeasies of the past, live 1920’s style swing band, and an American food stand.
