Want a more unusual trip to Bath?
While the Georgian architecture, the Roman Baths and the city’s history as a spa town make it worthy of a visit, there is much more to Bath than meets the eye. Here are a few of the more unusual things you can do during your trip without leaving the city.
- Enjoy the rural views
Due to its location in the north east of Somerset, Bath is surrounded by lots of beautiful scenery so why not spend a day enjoying the countryside rather than the city centre? You can enjoy the sights on the Bath Skyline Walk, follow the Kennet and Avon Canal to neighbouring towns or venture out towards the Cotswolds following the various trails that can be found around the city.

Yes, you read that right. In the summer you’ll find Bath on the beach, a pop up event that takes place every year where a small corner of the city is transformed into a Caribbean paradise, there are even palm trees, sand and a bar for you to enjoy!
