Bristol & Bath Railway Path
A 13 mile off road route between the cities of Bristol and Bath. The path is open to walkers and cyclists and access is provided for disabled users. The Path is many things to many people – an integral commuting route, an attractive leisure path and an important wildlife corridor.
On route to Bristol you will pass though the village of Bitton and the Avon Valley Railway & Cafe.
The Bristol & Bath Railway Path was constructed on the bed of the former Midland Railway. The Path is a 3m wide tarmaced surface from end to end and an attractive leisure and commuting route. The Path is also an important wildlife corridor.
